What is KnowHow?

KnowHow is a fast growing software company headquartered in beautiful Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The KnowHow Team is a fully Distributed Team, with team members working from all over the world. KnowHow is an easy-to-use mobile app that helps service companies rapidly onboard, up-skill and provide in-field guidance to their workforces.

Where we are going and what we are building matters to us, but what matters even more to us, is how we interact as team members, with our customers, and with our partners along the way.

We call this Living the KnowHow Way.

At KnowHow we have 12 Core Values - and they really matter to us. Team members are honored, promoted, and provided feedback based on our values. Our values show up daily in team standup meetings, and in team-wide meetings in which team members to recognize each other for specific examples of values lived out. Our values are woven into our interview process, which includes a ‘Values Fit Panel’.

What We’re Building

At KnowHow we are building a future that we think is not just compelling, but necessary.

We are focused on solving Three Problems that we believe need to be solved to eliminate some of the greatest sources of friction and discontent in the workforce today:

  1. Documenting the undocumented (or poorly documented) and keeping it trustworthy
  2. Streamlining a worker’s ‘Day 1 to Confident’ journey
  3. Incentivizing workers to follow the ‘Company Way’

We do this through a combination of easy-to-use mobile app solutions enhanced with unique generative AI functionality.

KnowHow’s customers are primarily based in the United States, though many are located in Canada. We expect to be focused on the North American market for the next 12+ months.
